Antonino Isordia

 

Nació el 30 de abril de 1973 en Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, es egresado del Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica en la ciudad de México. También asistió al Berlinale Talent Campus en Berlín, Alemania, en 2005. Sus películas más conocidas son 1973 (2005) y Los niños devoran lobos (2008). Sus películas y documentales han ganado la Diosa de Plata y el Premio JVC en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara. Ganó el premio al Mejor Documental en Video en el Festival Internacional de Valdivia, Chile  2001 por Descenso (2000).

 

Born on 30^th April, 1973 in Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, is a graduate of the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica  in Mexico City. He also attended the Berlinale Talent Campus in Berlin, Germany in 2005. His most notable films are 1973 (2005) and  Children eat Wolves (2008). His films and documentaries have won the Silver Goddess Award in Mexico and the JVC Award of the Guadalajara International Film Festival. Cristina Esquerra

 

Nació el 30 de julio de 1979. Estudió el Curso General de Realización Cinematográfica en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica con la especialidad en Dirección. Actualmente se encuentra en la fase final de dos cortometrajes Caminando las noches (2010)  con la cual concluirá sus estudios y Carmen (2011), proyecto filmado en Alemania con el apoyo del Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica en conjunto con Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen (HFF, Alta Escuela de Cine y Televisión) de Potsdam-Babelsberg.

 

 

 

Born on July 30^th, 1979. he studied the General Filmmaking Course at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, specializing in film direction. He is currently in the final stages of two short films Walking the Nights, (2010), with which he will finish his studies, and Carmen (2011), a project filmed in Germany with the support of the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and  the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen (HFF, Superior School for Film and Television) of Potsdam-Babelsberg.

Nació el 22 de julio de 1983 en la ciudad de México, estudió Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales en el ITESM y obtuvo la Maestría en Efectos Visuales en Westbridge Film School. Ha desarrollado efectos especiales para videoclips de artistas de talla mundial así como para la primera película de fantasía épica en México Ángel Caído (2010).

 

Born on July 22^nd, 1983 in Mexico City, he studied Computer Systems Engineering at the ITESM and got a Master’s in Visual Effects a the Westbridge Film School. He has developed special effects for videos for world famous artists, as well as Mexico’s first epic fantasy film, Ángel caído (2010).

José Eduardo Bravo Macías

 

Nació en Morelia, Michoacán en 1973;  ha colaborado con el Instituto Nacional Indigenista y la Comisión Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Pueblos Indígenas, teniendo a su cargo el Área de Información y Difusión de la Delegación en Puebla (2000-2006), en donde realizó documentales y diversos trabajos en video y multimedia para organizaciones indígenas. Realizó el cortometraje El Señor de los Siete Colores (2000), que fue seleccionado para representar a Puebla como estado invitado en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Monterrey (2008). Con Figuras en la Niebla (2008), obtuvo la beca de Artes Visuales del Programa de Apoyo al Desarrollo Artístico de Puebla y ganó la primera primera convocatoria de Apoyo a la Producción y Post-Producción de Cortometraje 2008-2009 otorgado por la Secretaria de Cultura del Estado de Puebla.

 

Born in Morelia, Michoacán, in 1973, he has collaborated with the Instituto Nacional Indigenista and the Comisión Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Pueblos Indígenas, and was in charge of the Area of Information and Communication of the Puebla Delegation (2000-2006), where he made documentaries and several video and multimedia peices for indigenous organizations. En 2001 debutó con el cortometraje Omega Shell (2001), que es considerada una de las  primeras piezas de cine cyberpunk mexicanas. En el año 2006 la prestigiosa revista de terror Rue Morgue consideró a Soto como uno de los  más talentosos cineastas mexicanos.

Es co-fundador de la casa productora The Maestros, actualmente es co-fundador y director de Intermedia Digital de Chemistry. Fue director de fotografía en varios cortometrajes, entre los que se encuentran Viejillos (2009) y Visita conyugal (2009) y largometrajes como Vete más lejos Alicia (2010), El lenguaje de los machetes (2011), y El velador (2011). Destaca su participación como supervisor de efectos visuales en los videos músicales de grupos como Molotov, Zoe, Ha-Ash, Café Tacuba, Julieta Venegas, Moenia y Pepe Aguilar entre otros.

Al inicio del Quinto Sol, los Señores Apantecuhtli, Tepanquizqui, Camaxtle y Quetzalcóatl se reúnen para decidir cómo formarán a los humanos que habitarán el mundo. La decisión de hacerlos con los huesos de los habitantes de las eras anteriores llevará a Quetzalcóatl y a su nahual Xolotl, a adentrarse al Mictlán, la tierra de los muertos, en una peligrosa aventura. (Cortometraje realizado por niños de la comunidad de Metepec, Atlixco, Puebla).

 

At the beginning of the Fifth Sun, the Lords Apantecuhtli, Tepanquizqui, Camaxtle and Quetzalcóatl got together to decide how they would make the humans that were to inhabit the world. The decision to make them from the bones of the inhabitants of the previous eras would lead Quetzalcóatl and his nahual Xolotl to venture into Mictlán, the land of the dead, on a dangerous adventure. Nació en Aguascalientes, México, en 1975. Realizó estudios de dirección y guión en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. Actualmente es el subdirector del centro y filma su largometraje Hay muertos que no hacen ruido.

In 2006, she was in charge of art and post-production for a television commercial for the play The Declaration, directed by Eduardo Ruíz Saviñón. In 2007, she directed her first short film, Pig’s Feet.
